The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) party has moved quickly to address a series of controversial posts by Commander Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla on social media platform X. Zuma-Sambudla’s remarks, which directly targeted the party’s Secretary-General, have sparked outrage within the party leadership.

The posts have been deemed offensive, violating the party’s disciplinary code, and are described by MK as “unacceptable, divisive, denigrating, and offensive.” The MK Party has made it clear that such behaviour goes against the values of unity and discipline the organization stands for.

Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla Ordered to Issue Public Apology

In response to the posts, MK Party President Jacob Zuma has demanded that Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla issue an unconditional public apology. She is required to apologize to the Secretary-General, the party president, members, supporters, and the broader South African public.
