Sergeant Fannie Nkosi’s case has been postponed to 15 September in the Pretoria North Magistrate’s Court. The State requested more time to disclose the contents of the dockets to the defence. Nkosi appeared in court on Wednesday.
Fannie Nkosi Case Moves To Regional Court
The matter has been transferred from the district court, making Wednesday’s appearance Nkosi’s first in the regional court.

The State had previously succeeded in having two separate cases against Nkosi heard together. He has remained in custody since his arrest in April.

The charges relate to a raid at Nkosi’s home during which official police dockets and police ammunition were allegedly found. He is also accused of removing confiscated drugs from a Tshwane police station in 2022. Nkosi faces charges of theft, fraud and defeating the ends of justice.
The State’s request for a postponement was granted, with the matter now set down for 15 September. Nkosi will remain behind bars until his next court appearance. The case is still ongoing.
