The prosecution alleges that Modack and three of the accused, namely Zane Killian, Ziyaad Poole, and Toufeek Brown, conspired to kill Booth on April 9, 2020.

A key witness in the trial, known only as Mister A, has already testified that Poole instructed him to carry out the murder on behalf of Modack.

Killian, on the other hand, is accused of unlawfully tracking Booth’s whereabouts and attempting to intercept his cellphone messages.

Now, it is Booth’s turn to take the stand in the Western Cape High Court. As a crucial witness, he is expected to provide testimony against Modack and his co-accused.

Booth’s account of the events leading up to the attempted murder will be instrumental in establishing the guilt or innocence of the defendants.

The trial has attracted significant media attention due to its high-profile nature and the serious charges involved.

As the proceedings continue, the public eagerly awaits the outcome, hoping for justice to be served and for the truth to prevail in this complex and unsettling case.
