The National Sea and Rescue Institute (NSRI) reported that despite the efforts of other fishermen who searched for the missing men, their bodies were later discovered on the beach.

The NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon, expressed his sorrow, stating, “Sadly, both men were declared deceased on the scene by paramedics.”

The bodies of the two fishermen have been entrusted to the care of the Government Health Forensic Pathology Services, while the police have initiated an inquest docket to investigate the incident.
