South African actress Nambitha Ben-Mazwi has recently announced her role in the upcoming Showmax original series titled “Empini”.
In the show, Ben-Mazwi will be portraying the character of Ndomi Themba, a young woman with a traumatic past who seeks vengeance.
Ben-Mazwi expressed her excitement about the project, stating that real blood, sweat, and tears have gone into the making of this series.

She believes that there is a great purpose behind it and is immensely proud to introduce viewers to Ndomi Themba, a deeply troubled young woman who leads the pack in a male-dominated industry.
“Empini” is an action-packed drama consisting of 52 episodes, set in the dangerous world of private security. The show is scheduled to premiere on May 23, 2024, with new episodes released on Thursdays.
Ben-Mazwi also mentioned that she is honoured to share the screen with heavyweight actors who support her in this project.
