Grammy-winning South African composer Lebohang “Lebo M” Morake has confirmed that the lobola process for his fifth wife, Nomoya Dube, has been completed.
The Lion King producer said the Morake and Dube families came together in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, over the weekend to conclude the traditional process.
Although Lebo M is currently in Los Angeles, California, he took to social media to share his excitement about the family gathering and the completion of the lobola negotiations.

“Earlier today had a beautiful LA brunch walk to my fav spot but yerrrr… I miss home . The Morake and Dube families gathered over the weekend to end the lobola process. Morake fam went home with their Makoti AKERE what a beautiful culture we have.”
The composer also spoke about his connection to South Africa while enjoying time in Los Angeles, which he considers his second home.
“Love our spot here in LA my 2nd home away from home but nothing like home @nomoyadube blessed indeed .”
Lebo M And Nomoya Dube’s Marriage And Lobola Process
The completion of the lobola process follows Lebo M’s public introduction of Dube as his fifth wife at the Nedbank International Polo in May 2026.
The couple’s relationship had previously been kept largely out of the public spotlight before the producer opened up about their marriage.
In an exclusive conversation with South African designer Craig Jacobs, the celebrated producer revealed that he met Dube while casting for his upcoming project, Last Queen Standing.
He also disclosed that the couple had been married since January 2026.
“I’ve been married before Moya four times. This is my last, final, happy marriage,” Lebo M said.
Lebo M’s Previous Marriages And Engagements
Lebo M’s marriage to Dube comes after a number of high-profile relationships and marriages.
His last known public relationship was with his former fiancée, Malefu “Mel” Ntsala. The pair became engaged after Lebo M proposed in Dubai in June 2025, but the engagement reportedly ended several months later.
In 2023, Lebo M announced his separation from his then-wife, Pretty Samuels, after the pair had been married for just over a year.
The renowned composer was previously married to Angela Ngani-Casara, Viveca Gipson and South African actress Nandi Ndlovu.

He was also engaged to former Generations: The Legacy actress Zoe Mthiyane.
With the lobola process now concluded, the Morake and Dube families have formally marked another significant stage in Lebo M and Nomoya Dube’s marriage journey.
