EFF leader Julius Malema has expressed his condolences and paid tribute to a brave member of the party who tragically lost his life while on duty.
The late fighter Lekometse Monama from the Emalahleni sub-region will be laid to rest tomorrow at Ga Rakgwedi, Nebo village in Limpopo.
Malema expressed his deep sorrow upon learning that Monama had been postering and lost his life while attempting to balance on a pole with an open cable carrying live current.

The EFF leader described Monama as a dedicated member of the movement and extended his sympathies to his loved ones.
In a statement, Julius Malema said, “We have lost a brave and dedicated member of our movement, and my heart goes out to his loved ones.
“Please accept my sincere condolences, and I would like to express my gratitude to him for his service and his sacrifice. Your family will always be my family, and I will always be there for them.”
