Police are searching for 40-year-old Hlengiwe Buthelezi in connection with the murder of popular DJ Warrick Stock, known as DJ Warras.
A warrant for her arrest was issued on Wednesday. She is the third suspect being sought in the case.
DJ Warras Murder Suspect Wanted By Police
Buthelezi is wanted on allegations of conspiracy to commit murder and murder following Stock’s death in 2025. The DJ was shot dead in Johannesburg CBD. Police have released an identikit of Buthelezi after a J50 warrant was issued by the Serious and Violent Crimes Unit.

During Victor Majola’s bail application, the investigating officer told the court that Stock’s personal information, including his address, was allegedly found on Majola’s cellphone.
Majola allegedly received the information from his girlfriend, known as Hlengiwe. Stock had previously applied for a protection order against her.
DJ Warras Case Continues After Gunman Plea Deal
The investigating officer previously alleged that Hlengiwe was part of an informal committee illegally collecting rent from residents of a hijacked building.

She is also alleged to have provided Stock’s photographs to Majola, who is accused of orchestrating the murder. The alleged gunman entered into a plea agreement with the State last week and will serve an effective 25-year prison sentence.
Majola’s case was postponed on Wednesday to September. Police are continuing their search for Buthelezi. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the authorities.
