It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of UKhozi FM’s beloved presenter, Zanele Mbokazi, being diagnosed with lung cancer. Last week, Zanele fell ill and was rushed to the hospital for treatment, where the cancer was discovered during diagnosis.

Zanele’s husband, Bishop Mpendulo Nkambule, shared that they initially prayed for her when she complained of pain.

However, when she couldn’t finish her gospel show, Eshilo, they decided it was time to seek medical attention. Zanele was taken to the theatre for surgery to determine the cause of her pain, and that’s when the doctors diagnosed her with lung cancer.

Despite the challenging circumstances, Bishop Nkambule expressed gratitude for the support and prayers they have received.

He said, “We thank God for His mighty hand. Thank you to everyone who has been praying for my dear wife, Zanele Mbokazi, since hearing news of her ill health. We thank God that she is recovering well.

Thank you for the prayers, love, and support from family, friends, church, and the entire community.”

The management of UKhozi FM also shared their sentiments, stating, “We’re praying for her speedy recovery and for God to be with us during this difficult time. We have faith in His ability to work miracles.”
