He emphasized that Bucy’s WhatsApp status is her own space, and she has the right to post whatever she likes without having to explain herself to anyone. Thapelo made it clear that Bucy owes no one any statement or explanation regarding her private WhatsApp status.

Thapelo further explained, “We spoke about this as I didn’t see those statuses, only heard about them from a journalist. Me and her have an understanding because she posts so many things, and she is shocked why does she have to explain herself to the public about what she posts on her private WhatsApp status.”

While the rumours may have caused some distress, Bucy seems determined to move forward and focus on self-healing. According to the alleged WhatsApp status, she wrote,

“I’ve done things that I’m not proud of just to get over the pain and betrayal. I lost a big part of myself in the process, but I guess it’s not too late to start over. I have to start by forgiving myself and start loving myself better.”
