One artist who seems to be embracing the spirit of collaboration is Emtee, as he sets aside past beef with other rappers and prepares to serve us some sizzling collaborations this year.
On Friday, the Trap King himself made a tantalizing announcement on Twitter, revealing that he might release two albums this year, one of which is the highly anticipated “DIY 3”.

The news caught the attention of fellow rapper A-Reece, who wasted no time in expressing his interest in being a part of the projects. In response to Emtee’s tweet, A-Reece wrote, “put me on something, champ.”
But A-Reece wasn’t the only one eager to jump on the collaboration train. Rapper Saudi also chimed in, expressing his desire to be a part of the collab. “Matter of fact, Let’s all 3 got on that,” Saudi wrote, suggesting a trio collaboration between himself, Emtee, and A-Reece.
It’s refreshing to see peace finally taking over the game, with artists putting aside their differences and coming together to create something special.
The South African Hip Hop scene is poised for an exciting year ahead, with the potential for groundbreaking collaborations and innovative music.
