American actor Anthony Anderson found himself in the hospital after a mishap during the filming of the highly anticipated movie “G20” in Cape Town, South Africa. Despite the scare, the actor managed to escape with only minor bruises.

Sharing the details of the incident on social media, Anthony revealed that the accident occurred during a fight scene on set. He humorously wrote, “I spent the night in the emergency room.

The movie set fight has gone wrong. Me against two goons and a chair! Guess who didn’t win! Who needs a stuntman? Me, that’s who! I’m not as young as I used to be!”

Fortunately, medical examinations including a CT scan and X-rays showed that there were no fractures or breaks in Anthony’s back. However, he did suffer a deep contusion.

And it seems the chair involved in the incident didn’t fare so well either. Anthony Anderson cheekily added, “That chair will never be the same though! Bloodied and bowed but never broken!”

While the accident may have left Anthony a bit worse for wear, his sense of humour remains intact. Fans and well-wishers flooded his social media with messages of support and laughter. This incident won’t keep the talented actor down for long.
