A 13-year-old child was among three people killed in a shooting in Elsies River on Sunday night.
According to police, the violence also left other victims injured, with some transported to hospital for medical treatment following the incident.
Authorities have appealed to members of the public to come forward with information that could assist detectives investigating the deadly shooting.
Police Investigating Elsies River Murder And Attempted Murder Cases
Police spokesperson Wesley Twigg said officers responded to the crime scene where they discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
Twigg confirmed that the 13-year-old victim was declared dead at the scene by medical personnel, while the remaining victims were taken to a nearby medical facility for treatment.
“The motive for the attack is yet to be determined and no arrests have been made. Elsies River detectives are investigating murder and attempted murder cases,” said Twigg.

Police are continuing their investigation as residents in Elsies River grapple with yet another deadly shooting incident in the area.
