Police spokesperson Ursula Roelofse highlighted the success of a three-day inter-provincial border operation involving officers from the Joe Gqabi District.

This operation resulted in several arrests for various crimes including assault, housebreaking, theft, attempted murder, and the possession of counterfeit goods. In addition to the arrests, a 9mm handgun with a magazine was confiscated.
