North West anti-crime activist Thato Molosankwe has been killed.
According to police, Molosankwe was shot at his home in Mahikeng during the early hours of Wednesday.
Law enforcement officials described him as a dedicated community figure who worked closely with police in efforts to combat crime and corruption across the province.

Acting National Police Commissioner Puleng Dimpane has instructed investigators to deploy maximum resources to track down those responsible for the attack.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said, “Lieutenant General Dimpane has strongly condemned the brutal murder and assured the community that no stone will be left unturned until those responsible are found and brought to book.”

Police said Molosankwe was widely known for his commitment to community safety and for working hand in hand with law enforcement authorities.
His death has terrified the North West, where he was recognised for his anti-crime activism and efforts to help tackle corruption.
