Four children have been taken to the hospital after being burned in a fire in Lwandle, near Strand.
It is believed that the incident occurred on Noxolo Road on Sunday night, according to reports.
The provincial health department’s Dwayne Evans said, “The Western Cape Government Health and Wellness can confirm that our dedicated emergency medical services (EMS) teams responded to a call of four young children who suffered burn wounds in a fire in Lwandle.

“All four children have been admitted to Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital and are receiving the appropriate care.”
