Mokgoro’s death comes after a prolonged struggle following a severe car accident that occurred approximately nine months ago. Despite receiving medical treatment, she never fully recovered from the accident.

Last year, Yvonne Mokgoro was involved in a serious car accident in the Northern Cape. She was initially treated at a private hospital in Kimberley before being airlifted to a Johannesburg medical facility.
