This comes as no surprise, as Minnie herself was once crowned during her school days, making her well-acquainted with the beauty pageant system.
When asked about her new role, Minnie expressed her excitement and shared her personal connection with the pageant girls.

Carol Bouwer, a prominent figure in the broadcasting industry, also expressed her admiration for Minnie’s achievement. She stated,
”I admire the many young women who have come to epitomize excellence in broadcasting in South Africa, and when I look at Minnie, I see many of the qualities we possessed at her age as women in broadcasting!”
