Mihlali Ndamase, the popular beauty influencer and content creator, recently made headlines for her love life. However, she wants to set the record straight – money was not the deciding factor when she started dating her partner, businessman Leeroy Sidambe.
In a candid interview on the show Unfollowed on Showmax, Mihlali spoke about the scrutiny she faces and the constant need for people to find fault. She said,
“When people have nothing to come at you about, they are going to find something to constantly dig at you.

“They are going to try to find something that may be a weakness that they’ll constantly dig at you. And honestly, people’s opinions have nothing to do with my reality.”
She emphasized that she is in a happy relationship and that should be the only thing people need to know.
Tongues started wagging when rumors circulated that Leeroy was not legally divorced. Addressing this issue, Mihlali revealed that it was Leeroy who initiated their relationship. She said, “I happened to click with him, we had chemistry and we fell in love, and then that happened.”
When asked if the fact that Leeroy was married raised concerns for her, Mihlali affirmed that it did. However, she quickly shut down any insinuations that she was with him for his money. She confidently stated, “I have my own money. Are you mad?”
Leeroy recently professed his love for Mihlali in a viral Instagram Live video. He clarified that people misinterpreted their love and that it was Mihlali who was spoiling him.
In an interview with Nounouche, Mihlali Ndamase expressed her desire for her relationship to have stayed private without any scandals attached to it. However, she remains unfazed by people’s opinions.
She said, “The timing to post each other was not right. He posted and I reposted his story. People will always have their opinions. It doesn’t affect me.”
Mihlali also addressed the notion that she “stole” a man from another woman. She firmly stated, “Another important thing is that men are not possessions. You don’t just take and run with it. People are responsible for themselves.
We make it seem like these men cannot think for themselves, and in that regard, we never hold them to the same standards we hold women.”
