Internship Program

Our internship programme is a 6 to 12-month career development opportunity designed to provide aspiring media professionals with practical experience and industry exposure that can significantly shape their future careers.
Participants gain hands-on training in key areas of our operations, including the newsroom, digital publishing, and social media management. Throughout the programme, interns work alongside experienced journalists and editors, developing valuable skills in reporting, content creation, editing, and audience engagement.
Upon successful completion of the first six months, participants become eligible for a monthly stipend of R700 for the remaining six months of the programme. At the end of the internship, high-performing candidates may be considered for a retainer or other ongoing opportunities with The Times Post, subject to performance, organisational needs, and available positions.
