The nominees for the 16th Crown Gospel Music Awards were officially announced in an all-white gathering in Sandton, Johannesburg. Over 300 persons were in attendance, dressed in white.
The Crown Gospel Music Awards will be held at the FNB stadium, Gauteng, on 26 November.
“I am excited with the new faces that have made it to the nominees list, a demonstration that the industry is growing,” the executive producer of the Crowns, Zanele Mbokazi-Nkambule says.

“The competition in the big two categories, Best Gospel artist and Best Gospel song is fierce, and we urge fans to vote for their favourites,” she added.
